On August 26 and 27 2010 we hosted a Certified Scrum Master course at Hotel Australia in Vejle.

The Scrum Master is the one who can introduce Scrum in an organization, teach, support and maintain discipline. A new litter of Scrum Masters were hatched in Vejle.

The participants were given a thorough review of Scrum. How to use Scrum? All the details, the history and the philosophy behind Scrum were reviewed. The participants commited temselves strongly and they really "pulled" from many angles with views on how Scrum could be implemented and used.

The theoretical aspects were spruced up with different practical excercises throughout the course the participants needed both their dexterity and "the little grey cells". Again it appeared that the Danish geography education leaves something to be desired.

There was a new Danish record in constructing the "Nakamura Lock Plane", three planes per team member per two minutes.

It all gave new inspiration to manage projects and also a deep understanding of which aspects makes Scrum work better than the traditional project management, when you are dealing with projects with uncertainties.

For many Scrum was a whole new way of thinking. The team designed as their final excecise their own "Scrum survival guide" - so they are ready to move into battle.
